Barbara Stützel is a psychological psychotherapist, yoga teacher, singer, and community coach, born in 1966 in Saarbrücken.
In 1997, her longing for a self-determined, sustainable, and intimate way of living together led her to ZEGG. Since 2001, she has been living in the community, where she led festivals, seminars, and public relations work for many years. Barbara Stützel's work lies at the intersection of community, creativity, and healing – where people come together to expand their potential and live a life of deeper connection.
Today, she primarily guides groups in exploring how a conscious and healing “We” can emerge from many individual “I”s. This includes Forum workshops and Forum leadership trainings (Transfor(u)m in Germany as well as in France, Brazil, and Spain), community consulting, and annual Tantra Yoga teacher trainings (Durga’s Tiger School). Her work draws equally on her experience as a certified psychologist and artist, as well as more than 20 years of community living. She creates a space of presence and connection in which limiting structures can be perceived and new inner movements can arise. The integration of mind, body, emotions, and creativity allows for a holistic approach to being human and opens the door to future possibilities.
