Iris DisseBuster Rådvik’s work is grounded in embodiment, dance, communal experiential therapy, and somatic psychotherapy. It has been shaped by many years of living in intentional communities focused on bringing consciousness and healing into relationship, as well as by a lived exploration of relationship structures ranging from monogamy to open and polyamorous relationships, and back to monogamy.

He began as a professional dancer and choreographer, where movement became both an artistic and therapeutic foundation, shaping his understanding of embodiment, presence, and the discovery of one’s non-verbal voice.

He trained extensively at Humaniversity (Netherlands and Sweden), partook in their therapist trainings and long-term immersions in communal and experiential therapy focused on relational healing.

His formal education includes a BA in Contemplative Psychology from Naropa University (Boulder, CO, USA) and an MA in Couples and Family Therapy from Antioch University (Seattle, WA, USA). He is a Certified Sensorimotor Psychotherapist, working with a body-centered, attachment- and trauma-informed modality integrating somatic, emotional, and cognitive processing.

He worked for seven years in the United States with sexually compulsive and sexual offending populations, bringing his work into relational territories that are often hidden, stigmatized, and kept out of collective awareness

He is the co-founder of Embodied Intimacy, and the founder of Path of Relating and The Intimacy Training, platforms through which he offers trainings, retreats, and professional development.

He is based in Berlin and travels regularly for work in Northern Europe. He lives with his partner Mara and their six-month-old son Teo, and occasionally collaborates with Mara in various workshop offerings.

Together, these streams form the professional foundation of his work.
